A few words about 8mm film transfers and DVDs...
8mm and Super 8 film is captured in High Definition; unfortunately, DVD players only support Standard Definition. There are a couple of solutions to this; convert them to standard definition (which reduces the quality) so that a DVD player will play it, or put the HD video files on a flash drive and play them on a smart TV via the TV's USB port. You can also play them on a computer by copying the files to it from the flash drive or a data disc. In addition, some computers are capable of sending the videos wirelessly to compatible TVs.
Standard Definition
Film to DVD [$ = calculated base rate]
This package includes film cleaning, sequencing of individual reels, splicing, brightness/color correction and deletion of blank sections. DVDs hold approximately 2 hours of footage. $10 each for additional DVD copy.

High Definition
Film to Data Disc or Flash Drive [$ = calculated base rate]
This package includes film cleaning, sequencing of individual reels, splicing, brightness/color correction and deletion of blank sections. Film transfer files are delivered on data disc (4.7 gigabytes) or USB flash drive
(up to 32 gigabytes each). If additional discs or flash drives are needed, they are $10 each.
Premium HD/4K
Film to data disc or flash drive + image upgrade using Artificial Intelligence software
[$ = calculated base rate + $5 for each film reel]. A 4K upgrade is also available.
This package includes cleaning, sequencing of individual reels, brightness/color correction and deletion of blank sections. The Artificial Intelligence (AI) software improves the sharpness and color quality of the transfer, and is $5 for each reel it is applied to. If you'd like to upgrade/upscale your footage to 4K, it is base + $10 per reel.
Film transfer files are delivered on data disc (4.7 gigabytes) or USB flash drive (up to 32 gigabytes each).
If additional flash drives are needed, they are $10 each.
Additional Services:
Duplication and Archiving
DVD or USB flash drive duplication is $10 each.
Archiving service is $10 per disc (4.7GB) or flash drive (up to 32GB) per year.
